About the Crystal:

For many years, we have exclusively worked with natural South American crystals. However, due to numerous requests from our customers for ruby gemstones, we faced a challenge as rubies are not commonly found in South America. We explored various continents in search of responsibly sourced rubies. Unfortunately, we were unable to find a Fairtrade cooperative or a sustainable company capable of certifying the environmentally sound disposal of excess materials in accordance with local laws.

As a result, we chose to use lab-created rubies. This decision allows us to meticulously trace every step of the production process. Lab-created rubies are crafted using the same materials found in natural rubies, ensuring they share identical chemical compositions. Compared to natural rubies, they are more cost-effective and are free from natural flaws.

While lab-created rubies are renowned for their flawless nature, we deliberately request rubies with natural imperfections to maintain the authentic charm of all our products. These slight variations ensure each piece is unique, echoing the organic beauty found in natural gemstones.
