The new "Star of the south" signet ring from Beho Studio is inspired by the sense of energy from an Aquamarine set in the middle of the signet ring.
The indigenous people believe the Star of the south was a girl child of the wise old people village, who had magical powers so strong that when she looked at a group of fierce beasts, they were immediately turned into stars. The largest is now in Orion's belt.
Aquamarine is associated with tranquility, serenity, clarity, and harmony.
As the first of the spring birthstones, the sea blue crystal represents transformation and rebirth. It embodies youthful vitality, purity, loyalty, hope, and truth. Of course, aquamarine must possess all the healing qualities of the seas.
Material: Sterling Silver 925 and Gold Vermeil
Gold Vermeil is a high-quality form of gold plating in which a thick layer of gold (8 microns of 18kt gold) is coated upon recycled sterling silver.
Every ring comes in a cotton pouch and a plantable box that has mustard seeds inside to reduce our waste.
I'm a designer passionate about nature and people. In every single thing I design, there is a lot of me and a lot of others. Part of the work is made in my studio in South East London, and part of the work is made by other artisans in South America, my second home. We make sure all the process is ethical and each crystal has been sustainably resourced
